How much would an average shop (not NISSAN) charge to remove all old gaskets and replace with new. Hone out cylinders while making sure everything measures as it should. Replace with all new gaskets and re-torque all bolts back to spec. Basically a teardown, measure, clyinder hone, grease(lube) everything, all new gaskets and rings on pistons, then re-torque. Lets, hypothetically say the shop charges $85 an hour. What would a FAIR price be? And also, does the engine need to be pulled for a rebuild? or does it just make it more convenient?
